A very important acquisition in the world of Social Web has been made. Facebook announced that it has acquired Friendfeed. A big deal is being made about the fact that it’s not so much as the actual website itself that facebook wants but the developers who work on Friendfeed.

Redbox Getting Attacked by Major Movie Studios

Who would’ve guessed that movie studios don’t like $1 DVD rentals. For some reason $1 rentals are starting to cut into DVD sales and effecting the movie studios. I don’t know about you but I’d say its better to have people paying something for a movie at least then pirating. Hmm let’s see how this one plays out.

I’m gonna try to make a new frequent post series where I post up interesting links I find while I surf the web. I’m always finding interesting articles, videos, pictures, and games that I would like to share with people.

Where are your taxes going?

First link is to a website that has an interactive poster that visually shows you the distribution of where the money is going in this years Federal budget. It’s really interesting to see it all graphically represented.

I found this list interesting because while there are many things I do know about there are several tings on this list I’ve only either heard of  I have no idea about.
